Jeff Bond, CPA brings over 30 years of diverse business and finance experience to FAA’s tax practice. He has extensive experience in individual and business taxation and enjoys engaging with clients on strategic tax planning. Jeff began his career at Laventhol & Horwath in Washington, DC, preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and real estate partnerships.
He later joined Marriott Corporation, launching a 20-year career managing hotel real estate investments where he significantly sharpened his interpersonal and communication skills. In that role, he collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders requiring him to navigate competing interests, build consensus, and lead strategic discussions. Managing complex relationships and resolving conflicts in high-stakes environments honed his ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and approach problems with empathy and professionalism. These experiences now inform his client-focused approach to tax preparation and planning, where strong relationships and clear guidance are essential. Jeff returned to his CPA roots in 2019, first with a small CPA firm, then at Lerner Enterprises, before joining FAA in 2025.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA in Finance from American University. A lifelong resident of Silver Spring, Maryland, Jeff is the proud father of three sons. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, reading history and biographies, playing guitar, and cheering on DC sports teams.
